So in the past few months there have been a couple of “catches” that were part of a collaboration…Underwolrd & Iggy Pop and Mura Masa & Octavian. Well, let’s add another collaboration to that list…Rome Fortune & Toro y Moi are bringing us today’s catch. Yes, Chaz Bundick of Toro y Moi is teaming up with Atlanta rapper Rome Fortune for the second time in their young careers. Back in 2015 they teamed up for the single “Pitch Black”. Recently the pair have joined forces again, and released a brand new 5-track EP called Toro y Rome Vol. 1. The very first song, “Alright“, is an amazing blend of funk, disco, and hip-hop, and is also today’s catch. Fortune recently tweeted this about the EP, “5 brand spankin new tracks 4 ya cookout =]”.
