The British Museum houses some of the most important items both bought and stolen by the United Kingdom. Since 1802, many historical artifacts including the Rosetta Stone (found by Napoleon and taken by the British) are on display – free to the public. Among them is an amazing collection of statues ranging from Africa to the Middle East and covering ancient civilizations like the Assyrians, Greeks and Romans. Amateur historian CJ Morgan visited the museum and documented these amazing finds from our past.
