The English Premier League season wrapped up Sunday, with Liverpool and Manchester City vying for the league’s top spot right down to the final day. Liverpool did their part to stake a claim by beating Wolves at home, but City’s fate was in their own hands away at Brighton, and the Blues claimed the league crown with a resounding 4-1 win.
Post-match, Oasis legend and lifelong City fan Noel Gallagher joined the festivities in the visitors’ dressing room, belting “Wonderwall” with the squad’s accompaniment:
For their part, Liverpool–who lost only one match on the PL season (to City in January)–continue their season next month in Madrid in the all-English UEFA Champions League final versus North London’s Tottenham Hotspur.
