Matty Healy, the frontman for The 1975, will be helping his father, actor Tim Healy, expand his portfolio to include music with the release of a new song.
Tim took to Twitter this weekend to announce the father-son recording session, posting a picture of the duo captioned: “Had a brill day recording a song I wrote when Matty was 11 he wanted it on his new album yippee you can hear it in April love you guys.”

He also posted a picture of them in the studio, recording the alleged track. But with The 1975’s new album release date set for October, it looks like this song won’t be on their next record.

A second album in the spring has been teased, so that could be what fans have to look forward to with this track and many more in the coming year.
