UKTX: New Bottlemen, + Meet A SXSW Artist You Need To Know!

Hey!  So the highlight from the latest was getting to introduce a brand new Catfish and the Bottlemen song.  Check out the video for “Longshot”, below–it’s the first offering from Van McCann & Co.’s third album, for which we still await details.

The Bottlemen are, by the way, Texas-bound in March.  Read into that what you will, but there are Dallas and Houston dates in the neighborhood of an off-day on Thursday, 3/14–right in the heart of SXSW Music week!

Speaking of SXSW, it’s worth noting that the only announced 2019 Brit Award winner to this date is Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK’s Sam Fender.  He’s been a staple on this show for a couple of months now, and is among the acts confirmed for a March visit.  Check out his vid for “That Sound”–presently included on EP Dead Boys, and likely set for his self-titled debut full, out this spring:

Here’s the 1/13 show, as we played it, below.  Listen for details on this Sunday morning’s program, coming soon!
