Sunday morning’s installment of our all-British new music show included those new ones from Kaiser Chiefs and Sam Fender discussed here last week; also the first new Hot Chip on the show since 2015’s Why Make Sense? LP.  New record A Bathful of Ecstasy includes “Hungry Child”; check out the video starring Martin Starr from Silicon Valley and This Is Us’ Milana Vayntrub:

Hot Chip hits America this September for a brief run, including the destination for our next 101X-Cursion, Vegas’ Life Is Beautiful Fest.

Sunday we also got to south Yorkshire’s Sherlocks for the first time. The four piece, including two sets of brothers, is set to release second album Under Your Sky this October, featuring new song “NYC (Sing It Loud)”:

Jade Bird’s new single is actually an old one, with pre-first LP song “Lottery” getting another look. We never addressed it upon its release last summer, so here’s a look at the video:

Jade returns to Austin as a headliner November 1st at The Historic Scoot Inn!
