Dear Diary, its official. Deb just may be a child whisperer. This Sunday, Deb went to the neighborhood pool with her friend and their kids, and Auntie Deb became the life of the pool. Deb went from just playing with her friend’s kids to hosting a torpedo splash game for about a dozen other children and she had a blast. This brought Deb to realize just how many parents take their kids out, but don’t actually play with them. Dear parents, take notes from Auntie Deb and splash around with your kids this summer.   

DEAR AIRLINES

Dear airlines, as a well-seasoned flier, Jason has a few suggestions on how you can improve your service. If you were wondering why we were out yesterday, Jason went to Las Vegas to play in the World Series of Poker, and his flights there and back were certainly not up to par by Dickman standards. First, Jason experienced the most disturbing turbulence on a flight thus far. Not only did his drink jump, but so did his heart when he saw how much the wings on the plane shook. Most importantly, to the flight attendants who like to hold court over the plane speakers, consider telling your airline to upgrade those muffled sounding systems before you spend time practicing your open mic bit. That’s all… until the next flight.

I LOVE YOU CALL 

Today we called Splash Sun & Fun in Sarasota, FL to see if Deb could get them to say I Love You Too. Deb asked if they had any one piece suits, not to be confused with grandma swimsuits, there were plenty of “younger looking” suits for Deb to choose from. Too bad Splash Sun & Fun was all out of love though, because it got awkward and Deb got butt-slammed.
