Nick and Emily were sharing sad grandma stories after the show yesterday, and it reminded Jason he had two missed calls from his dad. Suddenly Jason got paranoid that his dad had bad news to share. Fortunately everything was fine with Jason’s grandma, his dad just wanted to know if Jason wanted to watch the Dallas Cowboys game against Tom Brady. While Jason told his dad he was welcome to come over for the game tomorrow, he realized, he doesn’t really care to have people over anymore.

Corrupting Emily’s Friend
Anime conventions aside, Emily is not the known for wildin’ out. Not to say she doesn’t know how to have fun, just that she likes to make sure everyone is staying properly hydrated while doing so. So it was a little surprising when one of her friends told her she’d never been “blacked out” and wanted Emily’s help getting “corrupted”. Does that mean Emily is the wild one in her social group, or is she just the best person to make sure her friend can cut loose and stay safe. Either way, it looks like a girl’s trip to Vegas is in Emily’s future.

RIP Nana Hajda
Sadly Nick’s grandma passed away over the weekend. It wasn’t exactly a surprise, so Nick’s had time to process it already. Which is good because it means he can focus on being upset about how nobody in his family bothered to tell him the bad news until he had already learned it secondhand. Oops.
