Deb really loves Post Malone, so much that she wants the station to play one of his songs. Even though Post Malone is known for being a rapper, Deb argues his song “Circles” could be considered an alternative. Producer Katy agrees that he’s a talented artist but also he went to High School with her! Katy is totally for having a Grapevine Highschool alumni on their station and the song is objectively alternative and good! Give Posty a chance!
Katy Crowd Surfs…AGAIN!
Over the weekend we had our annual Indie Xmas Concert series. This year we had Catfish and the Bottlemen playing 2 nights at Emo’s with support from White Reaper both nights, Wilderado night 1 and Emily Wolfe night 2. Producer Katy got to interview White Reaper and even introduce them on the 2nd night. Our new afternoon guy, CJ Morgan introduced Emily Wolfe so he and Katy decided to team up to introduce the headliner. They wanted to go out with a bang so they decided to crowd surf Katy off the stage! Luckily the crowd was cool and let it happen and didn’t drop Katy on her head! Thanks, Catfish and the Bottlemen fans for letting her live the dream!
