Doesn’t Say Thank You When You Give Them A Generous Gift Guy, don’t be That Guy. Whenever one of Jason’s Sports Talk co-hosts is out, he usually turns to Producer Nick to fill in. This happened just last week, and Jason decided to repay Nick by sending him a $50 gift card for UberEats. And all he wanted in return was just a small, tiny, thank you for his troubles. Unfortunately Nick never game him one because he thought it was a scam and ignored the text from UberEats about it. It came from a random number and wanted Nick to click a gobbledygook url to claim it. This isn’t even the first time this has happened to Jason. Both his friends Kenny and Dave B have received UberEats gift cards from Jason that he then had to text them to tell them to use it. But in the end Nick got his gift card, Jason got his thank you, and it totally satisfied Jason’s need for gratitude.

I Love You Call

As a sign of the times, we’ve pivoted the I Love You Call from calling random business to calling your loved ones who might need an extra boost in these trying times. Today we called listener Kevin’s mom, Vicki. Vicki and her husband were supposed to be heading to Ireland this week with Kevin and his wife, but Covid-19 has changed all that. Vicki was still surprisingly upbeat considering, and probably helped lift our spirits more than we did hers. If you’ve got someone you think needs some extra love these days, let us know!
