Big news! We’re now live on your radio all the way until noon. You can still get us on your smart home assistant listening box thing (just tell Alexa and Google to play Jason and Deb). Or you can just download the 101X app on your phone and stream us from there! And there’s always the good old podcast.
That Guy
As we imagine is the case for most places, our office has a rule that everyone must wear masks in the building, unless you have an office or are on air in a studio. But sadly, that hasn’t stopped people from breaking the rules and not wearing their masks when they’re supposed to. Jason accused Deb of being one of those people when she runs to the kitchen for some coffee, but Deb insisted that’s just when it’s early in the morning and nobody is in the building. When she sees someone in the hallways she always masks up.
I Love You Call
As a sign of the times, we’ve pivoted the I Love You Call from calling random business to calling your loved ones who might need an extra boost in these trying times. Today we called listener Misael’s friend Dawson in Dallas. They both worked for the Alamo Drafthouse in Dallas, but now that they’ve both been furloughed Misael wanted us to call her and tell her he misses his best bud. If you’ve got someone you think needs some extra love these days, let us know!
Daily Morale Boosters
Good news for millennial games, Activision working on HD remasters of the first two “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater” games. If you’re too young to remember, not only was it a great game, but it had an amazing soundtrack too.
Rivers Cuomo did a cover of Nirvana’s Heart-Shaped Box.
Just a video of Jason Mamoa throwing hatchets while shirtless.
And finally, do dogs make the worst Zoom meeting participants?
