On today’s show Garrett Salpeter, Chief Neurological Officer and Founder, and Rich Dougherty, Clinic Manager and NEUBIE Sales from NeuFit joined us in the studio today.
As you know, Deb is competing in the MAVS Charity Classic as part of her Majourney, and NeuFit has helped her through some injuries and doubled her workouts to get ready for the show. Garrett and Rich broke down how neuro-muscular stimulation works and also explained the science behind how you can create bigger muscles using the nuero-bio-electric stimulator also known as NEUBIE. Jason, Producer Nick and new Producer Imari even tested out the machine to see how it feels to be “zapped” like Deb. Check out the Facebook Live video of Jason and Nick trying out the NEUBIE.

A GIFT FROM DEB TO JASON
Deb was working out at NeuFit yesterday and heard a song she thought Sounded familiar. So she captured the song title and artist and it ended up being Bastille doing a cover of Green Day’s ‘Basket Case.’
She played the song to get a reaction out of Jason, and thought he would have the same distaste as she did to the Jimmy Eat World cover of ‘Last Christmas’ by Wham! that they have been debating about forever. Deb liked the Bastille cover because she thought it was a good example of how you should change up a cover and put your own spin on it. Jason said the Bastille cover of Basket Case didn’t bother him, as long as Deb agreed that it isn’t the better version of the song.
RIDING ALONG WITH JASON AND DEB
During yesterday’s Google Game, Deb was trying to come up with the title of a Michelle Branch song. Turns out, the song Deb was singing is actually by Vanessa Carlton. Producer Nick listened to the actual song and turns out, Deb was closer than what we gave her credit for. Of course, Nick had to remix the audio of Deb singing with the original song. During the game, Jason thought she was trying to sing Chuck Berry’s ‘Riding Along In My Automobile’. So Nick did the same thing for him. Since is Nick, he Frankenstiened both of them together and made what he calls ‘Riding Along With Jason And Deb’.

C OF THE WEEK
Deb came across a news story from the Williamson County Animal Shelter where dozens of animals were found beheaded and murdered at a home in Georgetown. Deb was hurt to see the animals suffering but she was even more upset to see that after they murdered these animals and showed a disregard for a beings life, the owner has not yet been charged. She has also been coming across three different posts of dog fighting rings that have been broken up on Instagram. The animals seized from the Williamson County home are currently being used as evidence and cannot be adopted out, but the shelter says you can help with their other animals. All people who are cruel to animals, behead animals and run dog fighting rings, you are the C of the week.
I LOVE YOU CALL
Today we called Open Books in Chicago, Illinois to see if they would tell Deb I Love You. Deb told them she volunteers for meals on wheels and shared the story of how one of the sweet old ladies that she helps is getting her eyesight fixed and she wanted to buy a book to celebrate her reading again. The nice old likes gothic novels, and Deb wasn’t quite sure about the genre. Open Books explained gothic novels are all books that contain vampires, werewolves or Victorian elements. They even bonded with Deb over the TV show ‘Penny Dreadful’ and confirmed they may have some gothic books in store, but Open Books just couldn’t come up with any love for Deb.
