This week Deb met with her financial advisor for the first time. She had never met him so she didn’t want to immediately invite him to her home. This was just a precaution if he was one of the bad strangers trying to kidnap her rather than help her with finances. He was traveling from out of town so this is what first raised her suspicions. Then he used “LOL” in a text, which she thought was weird for someone dealing with finances. She decided the best bet was to have him meet her at a coffee shop. Deb’s precautions, while safe ended up to be not necessary because the advisor came prepared with only financial advising intentions, not to kidnap! Deb was very impressed because he wore a nice suit and carried a professional briefcase. He had brought a personalized packet for Deb that was bound in a custom binder! Luckily Deb was not kidnapped and now has more insights into her finances! So if you’re ever in a similar situation, just meet in a public space, much less likely to be kidnapped by a stranger there.

At some point, the internet overlords deleted our old content. So it’s that time of the week when we throw it back to the good old days. This week we are going way back to 2009. It was at this time when Deb used to open her own mail that was sent to her at the station. Due to this specific incident, Deb no longer does that. Jason and Deb have gotten some weird mail over the years. This letter might have taken the cake. The worst part was that Deb was opening mail at a stoplight and this fell out all over her car. We’re not sure if they’re real pubes but hopefully not.
