You may remember last week Jason told us he was going to church on Sunday for his friend’s re-baptism. For all of those cackling at Jason’s new found “spirituality” like Deb and producer Nick, Jason was glad to support an old friend but had no idea what to expect. No, Jason didn’t have to go suit shopping, but he pulled out his Sunday best and he even ended up being a bit over dressed. If you want service details, let’s just say the man of the day’s stray away from Christ mostly involved he and Jason’s old shenanigans, but Jason had a good ol’ time reminiscing. P.S. there was no wine.
My college best friend was baptized today. During his testimony he talked of all the times he strayed from Christ. It was basically a chronicling of our friendship.

DEB MEETS A CELEBRITY PLUMBER
Deb was getting some plumbing supplies over the weekend and ran into a cool guy that was willing to answer all of her kitchen questions. When she was talking to him she noticed he looked exactly like the photo of the guy on the back of the truck outside, and turns out, it was him! Deb loves how local companies showcase their employees on their billboards. Although this guy is hugging a toilet, he’s pretty much a local celebrity and was even willing to mimic the pose with Alfie. If you’re looking for a friendly plumber, Deb might know a guy.

THE FRIENDLY NEIGHBOR
There were some kids riding bikes with flat tires in Deb’s neighborhood, and as the friendly neighborhood lady with the cool cat and pup running around, she wanted to help them out. Deb gave them a pump to fill up their tires, and told them to just drop it off on her front porch anytime. The boys took anytime quite literally, so returning a borrowed pump turned into playing on Deb’s hammock at all hours of the day and constantly bing-bonging her door. All Deb wanted to do was help, but now she doesn’t know how to make it stop. If you have any tips on revoking the cool lady in the neighborhood title, Deb is going to need some help.
QUIEN ES MAS MACHO
Every Monday we test Jason’s manliness by comparing his weekend to a listener’s. Today’s listener was Roque, and he spent the weekend rotating tires, changing his oil and mowing his lawn. This was all normal macho stuff, but Roque told his manager at Cap Metro about Deb’s bus beef so we gave him some extra street cred.
Jason started off his weekend with an extended night of poker, and he woke up bright and early on Saturday to “put some shots up”. Later on Saturday he went to his friend’s going away party, but he couldn’t get too crazy because Sunday he had big plans to go to church.
We had time for Deb’s qualifying questions, and Roque made a fire and fixed some stuff, but Jason did no mowing or lifting over the weekend. You voted, and declared Roque’s weekend mas macho.

I LOVE YOU CALL
Today we called Healing Crystals in Dulles, VA to see if Deb can get them to say I Love You Too. Deb asked about a birthday gift for a friend who is “not religious, but spiritual”, and Healing Crystals had the perfect zodiac card and bag of stones for Deb. Too bad Deb’s zodiac card must have not been giving off the right energy, because Healing Crystals had no love for and she got butt-slammed.
