C OF THE WEEK
Every Friday Deb picks out someone or something to be her C Of The Week. Sometimes it’s a jovial C and sometimes it’s a legitimate C. Although, this week’s C of the Week is more like “a bone to pick with you”. Deb’s Mum is coming into town in two weeks to help out after her hip surgery. Last time she came into town was also around this time of year, but she was hoping for this holiday season the weather would be better. Last week, the weather was nice and Deb was looking forward to it remaining the same. It’s about thirty degrees in England where Deb’s Mum lives right now, and she must be bringing the cold because it’s going to be freezing for the next few weeks. Deb was hoping to go on walks, enjoy the fresh air and outdoor activities while her Mum is in town, but darn Texas just has to be so flipity- floppity. Dear Texas, Deb would like to ask if you could just please bring the weather up a little? She hates to have to do this, but for inconsistent weather, Mother Nature, you are this week’s C of the week.
WILL DEB EVER BE CAST AGAIN?
If you remember, Deb had her big acting debut in the indie film “Tag Team Truckers” a couple years ago. Writer and director Jason Ancona, as well as Michael Morford and Scott Dean joined us in studio today to discuss the film. (link to podcast)

I LOVE YOU CALL
Today we tried to call Miss Ricky’s restaurant in Chicago, IL to see if they are actually serving up the Elf Spaghetti Breakfast. Unfortunately, we had no luck with Miss Ricky’s. So instead we called another breakfast spot, The Pancake Place in Wisconsin. Deb asked if she could bring her kids in for a nice, sweet breakfast, and on top of just having basic pancakes they had a whole list of toppings for Deb. Although the pancakes were sweet, looks like there wasn’t enough love to go around because Deb got buttslammed.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA DICK!
Today is Mama Dick’s 60th birthday so we suspended our “no birthday shout-outs” programming because this is a special one. Of course, Jason has some extraordinary Round Rock birthday celebrations planned for his mother dearest. Like his favorite childhood pastimes this includes eating meat off of a sword at a Brazilin steakhouse. Listen to the 7am podcast to hear all about it.
