It was quite the day for Deb, as her mind was blown not once but four times! After discussing the Popeyes chicken sandwich crazed she realized Popeyes wasn’t related to “Popeye” the sailor. All this time Deb had thought that Popeyes was a seafood place and it was groundbreaking for them to serve chicken. Mind = Blown.
For some reason American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi came up off-air today, which prompted us to ask our resident Millennial Intern Jenna/Katy, if she knew who that was. Katy grew up a huge American Idol fan, and even once decorated her Valentine’s Day box in 2nd grade with an American Idol theme. This blew Deb’s mind because in England, you only give one to your actual Valentine, not to the entire class. Mind blown times two.
We also revealed Deb’s QB Cutie rankings and Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick came in at number two. This led Deb to go down a Ryan Fitzpatrick wormhole, where she found out that he went to Harvard and is married with six kids! Triple Mind Blowing.
And finally when we were quizzing her about NFL players who have posed for ESPN Magazine’s The Body issue, the nude pictures of former Houston Texan’s defensive tackle Vince Wilfork blew her mind one last time.
Deb’s Diary:
After all Deb’s troubles trying to watch Avengers: Endgame Sunday, Deb finally was able to finish it last night. Her previous review based on the first half of the movie was that there was “too much dialogue” and it was kind of boring. After being able to actually finish the movie, Deb said it was a “fine film” with a “pretty good” final fight scene. Now the only question is which was sadder, the end of Endgame or her whole Redbox experience?

Deb called The Egg Cafe near Charlotte, North Carolina to ask how late they served breakfast. It ended up being one of those breakfast places that closes in the middle of the afternoon, but serves breakfast all day until then! Unfortunately they were too busy to give Deb any love and she got buttslammed.
