One Last Goodbye

Yesterday during Deb’s Diary Deb broke the awful news that George has passed after being hit by a car. The night of the accident, Deb stayed with George and cuddled him until his body went stiff to share one last moment. After, she wrapped him up in a blanket and put his body in the freezer for preservation, but she was dreading the return home knowing what would come next.

Deb and her San Antonio Guy couldn’t help but mourn, let alone get any sleep once it all sunk in George was actually gone. Luckily, after dealing with a similar situation with Silent J, Jason and his Mom stepped in to help out and arranged the entire service. Deb’s friends, their kids and some of the neighbors even came over to say their last goodbyes, but Deb knows her street will never be the same without George.

Goodbyes are the toughest, but George O’Keefe will surely be missed.
