Producer Katy Is Back
Deb is still out dealing with personal matters, but we talked to the bosses and SURPRISE, Producer Katy is back to help out until Deb’s return. We’re super excited since we never wanted to get rid of her in the first place, but… corona. We caught up with what Katy’s been up to in the last four months and can’t wait to make her take up the I Love You Call reigns. Jason Goes To A Book Store
Producer Katy’s return wasn’t the only surprise we had today. Jason also shocked us by revealing he recently went to a book store… on purpose. Over the weekend his Bumblina and her son, Bumblito, wanted to pick up some books from Half Price Books and Jason decided to tag along. Jason found some factual errors in a book on how to grill the perfect steak, and checked out their robust gambling section that took up two whole shelves. They even stopped for ice cream on the way home like a real family. Well, Bumblina and Bumblito had ice cream, Jason just lived vicariously through them.
Nick’s Diary
Since Deb is out we’ve pivoted from Deb’s Diary to Nick’s Diary, and today’s entry was all about loneliness during coronavirus times. In the past Nick has been mostly OK with living a life of solitude, but lately it’s been especially tough. It appears that living in a constant state of anxiety and existential dread can do wonders to kick start your biological clock, and make you want to have some to hold at night. And based on your Tweets Nick is not alone. So if you’ve been stuck at home with a significant other who’s straining your last nerve just remember it could be worse. You could be like Producer Nick who is currently trying to pick out what anime cat girl he wants to put on his Japanese body pillow. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
We Love You
Deb is out so we’re playing some of her best I Love You Calls from over the years. Today’s was from when we were joined by Deb’s soul mate, Kevin Nealon, and she wanted to rent a limo for some airport hanky-panky.
