This sparked the discussion about how we’ll be gift giving this year. Jason’s family is going to Hawaii during Christmas but his sister asked if they wanted to do a gift exchange a few days before. Jason is taking his family to Hawaii so he’s wondering “what gift exchange? I got us a family trip to Hawaii!!” Maybe he should just put a giant ribbon on the ground when they get there and tell them that is his gift to them. Deb said that San Antonio guy asked her “if they were gonna do anything big this year.” Deb has no idea what this means and needed some DQA. Deb wants to know if that actually means they won’t be doing anything big or if she should still get San Antonio guy something big for Christmas. She is in a gift giving limbo and has no idea what to get for him now. It’ll all probably work out fine but still, gift giving for significant others can be difficult and awkward because you don’t wanna under-give but also don’t want to go over-the-top.
Deb’s Diary
As you may know Deb is living in a zoo house with 2 cats and 2 dogs! Well she’s training the cats to be circus cats because they have to do kitty parkour to get to their litter box. Deb keep’s their litterboxes in the guest room shower behind a kiddie safety gate. The gate is to keep Alfie out who likes to eat the cat poo. Deb was having to empty the cat boxes several times a day so San Antonio Guy bought an automatic cat litter box that disposes of the poop automatically! She even caught San Antonio Guy pausing the Monday Night Football game to go watch the automatic scoop do it’s thing. That’s some riveting Monday Night entertainment if you ask us!
Jason’s Mac and Cheese Upgrade
Last night Jason indulged in some H.E.B. $0.68 macaroni and cheese. Jason’s theory is that they price it one cent below $0.69 because otherwise that price would have it flying off the shelves at too quick of a pace due to the hilarious pricing. Usually Jason uses his 2{388081cbccfa91f116341f933b18b5c16653e4a9c19a7c8ce932c96defb755a4} milk but was all out so he had to use his roommates whole milk. Jason feels like whole milk is too much in cereal but it really changed his mac & cheese game. He’s a changed man now! He even cooked up some bacon and chopped it up and mixed it in with the mac & cheese which took it up a whole level.
