A comprehensive study of more than one-thousand radio hosts across the United States was released that asked questions about how and why they do their jobs.
One of the best and commonly asked question was if they thought they had a face for radio, and twenty-eight percent admitted that they probably do.
Here is the question and answer everyone wants to know, thirty-nine percent admitted they’ve dated a listener before and seven percent ended up marrying one.
Also according to the survey, these are the top ten reasons people work in radio.
1. It’s fun.
2. Entertaining people.
3. It’s emotionally fulfilling.
4. It’s the only thing I know how to do, or it’s what I do best.
5. Supporting the community.
6. Informing people.
7. Being able to connect with a large number of people.
8. Because it’s fun being part of a team.
9. It’s just all about the music.
10. Hey, it’s a living.
Only fourteen percent said money was a main factor and just six percent said fame is what motivates them. One percent said they do it for the constant hook-ups.
A STUDY FINDS EMOTIONALLY UNSTABLE WOMEN ARE BETTER IN BED
A new study in the “Journal of Sex Research” suggests that women who are emotionally unstable tend to be better in bed. When women scored lower on emotional stability tests, the guys they were with were more likely to say they had a good sex life.
The study also found women were more likely to be satisfied with their sex life if the guy they were with was thorough and dutiful. Possibly, because those kinds of guys feel the need to make sure women are satisfied too.
A CALIFORNIA CHURCH SERVES BEER DURING SERVICES
The Greater Purpose Community Church in Santa Cruz, California recently sold their church building, moved into a temporary lounge space and plans to build a brewery where they will hold their services.
The Greater Purpose pastor said there is nothing in the Bible that says you can’t drink alcohol in a responsible manner.
The church is currently holding its services in a lounge that also serves beer. This also sparked the pastor’s idea to convert a downtown bookstore into a brewery that will serve as a church. With this new church, he hopes to donate thirty to sixty percent of the profits to charity.
