If you’re stuck at home and aren’t spending your mornings listening to us in the car, don’t forget you can still get us on your smart home assistant listening box thing. Just tell Alexa and Google to play Jason and Deb. Or you can just download our app on your phone and stream us from there!
Deb’s Diary
With the CDC recommending everyone start wearing cloth masks, Deb had decided she wants to start sewing masks for people in need. She’s got a sewing machine at home just sitting there, and with her regular meals on wheels route she’s gotten to know lots of seniors who could use them. Jason simply ordered some balaclava to use as masks. Whichever route you go make sure you’re protecting yourself and everyone else whenever you need to leave the house.

Dumb Question Amnesty
Dumb Question Amnesty is one of Deb’s greatest inventions. You simply declare Dumb Question Amnesty and no one can laugh at you for whatever dumb question comes out of your mouth. Today Jason was curious about whether credit card machines are processing faster than they have in the past. Apparently whenever Jason has to stop in his local convenience store, he likes to pass the time waiting for his card to go through by imagining the back story of the store clerk and how he ended up working there. But now the dang machine finishes before he can finish the story in his head. Maybe they’re speeding them up because they don’t have time for your foolishness, Jason. Have you ever considered that? I Love You Call
As a sign of the times, we’ve pivoted the I Love You Call from calling random business to calling your loved ones who might need an extra boost in these trying times. Today we called all the way to Florida to talk to Listener Sean’s wife, Hannah. Both are active military members who are currently stationed 350 miles away from each other. Not only is Hannah still going into work, but she also is watching their young son, two dogs and a cat. Luckily she’s got a front row seat to some classic Florida Man shenanigans to help keep her entertained.
