What’s A Softboy?

Producer Katy learned a new term and wanted to share it with the team. Last night she was talking to her friend who felt like she had been played by a guy. Her friend told her that he was a softboy which  Katy thought was a good thing. Katy thought that being a “softboy” was a guy who is in touch with his emotions and very kind. But according to Urban Dictionary, it is not exactly that. Katy’s friend informed her that a softboy is similar to the F-boy but gets to know the girl emotionally and makes a connection but then never wants to commit. So it almost hurts worse than being played by a F-boy who just wants to get laid. Her friend has been seeing this guy for a while and was pretty smitten up until he told her he didn’t want anything serious. Deb said she had definitely experienced this before in her life. Deb thinks that if you don’t want to be in a committed relationship and start to date someone you need to be upfront and let them know that! Be explicit with your intentions, it’s the mature thing to do and hopefully will prevent someone from getting hurt down the road. But for now, softboys stay away from Katy and her friends, they don’t got time for that! 

On Hunt For Spicy Chicken Sandwiches 

We are filming a Jason and Deb review things episode today and spoiler alert: the item we’re reviewing is the Popeyes chicken sandwiches. Producer Katy went out at 9:30 to wait for the Popeyes to open at 10. At 9:45 am there were already 2 cars lined up in the drive-thru. By the time Katy left with the goods, there were at least 6 cars waiting in the drive-thru line.  Stay tuned for the Jason and Deb review things on Spicy Chicken Sandwiches but until then you can watch the episode reviewing crunchy tacos!

Williamson County Animal Shelter Needs Help! 

Have you been missing a furry friend in your life? Right now the Wilco Animal Shelter is really in a bind with medium/large dogs. They are overcapacity by 40! They are urging fosters, adopters, and rescue organizations to please come help.  If you have been thinking about adopting a dog or even fostering they could really use your help!
