C OF THE WEEK
Sometimes Deb’s C is a jovial C, but this week’s C is real. All Deb wants is five minutes with this person and the English star-throwing ninja is coming out. If you’re not following along, on Tuesday Deb was alerted of an abandoned dog neglected and chained, so she drove hours to Brady, TX to rescue him. Braidy the poor pup has gallstones, tough skin, grounded teeth and bad skin from enduring a year of suffering, but she also has the most amazing spirit and sweetest brown eyes.
Luckily since she was rescued, Deb has been able to work alongside a team of amazing people to help Braidy out. Deb won’t be sure until Braidy’s temperament evaluation if she’ll be able to stay with Alfie and George. Braidy is still a little skittish, but who wouldn’t be after suffering from aggression and abandonment.
If you see a dog chained in the city of Austin, first of all it’s illegal, but call 3-1-1 or say something if you see something. To those people who can just leave a helpless animal chained to die, you are this week’s C of The Week.
