Actor and model Zane Holtz joined Jason and Deb in studio today to discuss the release of the new movie “Hunter Killer”. Holtz was born in Canada but currently resides in Austin, and turns out he lives just two doors down for Deb. Just to clarify, he isn’t one of the trash neighbors in the neighborhood. (Phew!)
The thriller/action based on stopping WWIII from beginning stars Holtz as Martinelli, a courageous, skilled member of the elite unit alongside Gerard Butler and Oscar winner Gary Oldman.
“Hunter Killer”, will be in theatres Friday, October 26th. Check out the trailer below.
Holtz will also be at the Austin Film Fest debut of “Beyond the Night” premiering tonight. Click here for more details.
JASON GOT-GOT BY CHICAGO… AGAIN
Jason is trying not to panic or over react, but he may have got-got again and is a little on edge.
To rehash the whole situation, Jason went to Chicago for Riot Fest a while back and booked an Airbnb months advance. He never experienced issues with the company in the past so he thought his booking was all set until just weekend before his trip he didn’t hear from the host, and learned he may arrive to plumbing issues.
Well, it’s like déjà vu all over again, because Jason and his Alkaline Trio enthusiast group message plan to return to Chicago to see a three day performance by the trio. Jason did admit that his need to fly around the country chasing his all-time favorite band around may have gotten out of hand, but who knows when their next performance will be their last.
To avoid the Airbnb debacle like last time, Jason booked with HomeAway, but is starting to see the same signs. It seemed like a good deal, but after Jason was booked and charged he got a message from the host that specifies he would prefer to communicate exclusively through WhatsApp when he comes into town.
With a pre-paid deposit, limited communication by WhatsApp and similar patterns, the Dickman just may have got-got by Chicago… again.
I LOVE YOU CALL
After yesterday’s phone call to a yarn store, today we called Huntingdon Yarn Mill in Philadelphia, PA to see if Deb could get them to say I Love You Too. Deb started out by asking if Huntingdon Yarn Mill offered tours and they were happy to put Deb in contact with someone to show them around. Deb, new yarn enthusiast thought there was a glimmer of hope, but Huntingdon Yarn Mill had no love for deb today.
