Uh, no, it’s not how it sounds. Well, maybe it is. According to CJ, on today’s Did You Know segment we learn that the official unit of measurement for one million years is called ‘megaanus’. I’m going to do some investigating on this, because I don’t believe it’s true based on my knowledge of Latin and English prefixes/suffixes (I’m a nerd, shut up, get over it). Regardless, we got a great title for the episode out of it!
Matt takes a look at the science behind electromagnetism in today’s Weird or Wired segment. Some folks online are concerned that the earth’s north and south magnetic poles are going to flip sometime in our lifetime, which is an occurrence that has been predicted to happen. It’s also not just a simple flip, but it will change the way nature operates to some degree. Kinda scary? Yeah, sure. Change can be wild, but Matt assures us that actual scientists are studying this and claim that we won’t see a polar flip for many, many centuries. I guess online armchair scientists maybe don’t know what they’re talking about? Go figure.
And we have a slight rivalry with our morning show here on 101X. Our jobs as radio hosts is to entertain you and to guide you to our website (101x.com) so we can collect various metrics of analysis and calculate our reach/influence/ratings. Boring stuff like that. Anyway, back to the rivalry thing – our friend Emily is on both shows, actually – our morning show and here in the afternoon on The CJ Morgan Show. Today CJ poses the question: “Who gets first rights to Emily’s thirst trap photos?”
The obvious answer is Emily, of course. But who will win the fight to keep her most exciting content for their show? The debate continues when Em returns later this week.
