This Weekend Producer Katy went to see Twin Peaks 3 times this weekend. No not the T.V. show or Jason’s favorite restaurant, the band! Twin Peaks is a Chicago based band that Katy’s friends Alexa and Taylor discovered their freshman year of college. They’ve become of one of their favorite bands and so they decided to take a road trip and follow along their Texas tour. Katy and her friends went to Dallas on Thursday, Houston on Friday and brought it back home to Austin on Saturday! Post Animal and Ohmme also from Chicago were the supporting bands and before he was on Stranger Things, Joe Keery aka Steve was in Post Animal. He went on the Texas tour with the bands and played with Post Animal during their last song each night. It was such a blast and Katy even crowd surfed for the first time. She liked it so much that she crowd-surfed each night! It got a little rowdy and Katy walked away with some battle wounds. Check out the pictures from the weekend and the video of Katy crowd surfing!
Knives Out, Forks Gone
Jason came to the realization this weekend that he had been robbed! He figures it happened during his Halloween party but someone stole something that is very important to the well being of his household. It’s his forks! It seems as if someone stole a handful of forks from his silverware drawer. At first, Jason didn’t notice but then when he unloaded the dishwasher and saw there were several forks gone he knew something was up. He even had his roommate check in his room for the missing forks but there were no forks to be found. Jason says he just wants his forks back, no questions asked!
Quien Es Mas Macho
It’s no one’s favorite time of the week when we play Quien Es Mas Macho! This weekend Jonathan the listener got all of his Thanksgiving meal shopping prep done and built a baby crib. Jason rewatched Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and more football. It’s probably pretty obvious who won the weekend but check out the twitter poll for the results.
