Central Texas COVID-19 Numbers for Friday, May 29, 2020

TRAVIS COUNTY:

30 more people are now classified as recoveries in Travis County where the total this morning has risen to 1114 of the overall 3124 cases. The number of people in the hospital has also taken a good step downward, with 88 as of today. 92 people have died since March.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY:

Williamson County’s coronavirus hospitalizations have dropped slightly since Thursday. The number of people receiving inpatient treatment at a hospital is at 13. 23 patients have died since March, but 365 have made a full recovery. 208 cases are still active.

HAYS COUNTY:

Since March, only 29 people in Hays County have required hospitalization for COVID-19, and only four are in the hospital this morning. A total of three have died from the virus, but out of the county’s overall tally of 314 confirmed cases, 165 have recovered.

BASTROP COUNTY:

Bastrop County has tacked on several more cases of coronavirus this week. As of Friday morning, 196 cases have been confirmed, but 82 of those are now recoveries. Bastrop County’s death toll has remained at two for several weeks.
