Friday, June 19th

 

JUNETEENTH 2020: Stay Black and Live | Online | 6pm-10pm

Join the Juneteenth celebration! Black organizations in Austin’s East side have collaborated to create the Stay Black and Live virtual live stream. It will be available to watch on Facebook, Instagram, Twitch and the Juneteenth website. The program will recognize “the unprecedented times we’re currently living through.” There will be special performances from the Austin and Travis County area, plus a raffle prize of donations from local businesses!

Free Beer Nights | The Original Pinballz | 7pm

Did someone say, free beer? The Original Pinballz Arcade did. Yup, you grab a cold one while you play some games! They’re also allowing you to BYOB all week long! Currently, all three locations are open, including the restaurants and bars. Pinballz has added safety measures while staying open, including social distancing and hand sanitizing stations for customers. Be sure to get all the details above to make sure you stay safe out there.

 

Father’s Day Package and Immersive Distillery Tour | Online Fri-Sun | 9am

Staying in for Father’s Day and don’t know what to cook for the special occasion? Worry not! Sourced & Garrison Brothers have united to solve your issue, they’re offering customers a Father’s Day Cocktail Kit that can be delivered straight to your door. With every cocktail you order, you’ll be invited to check out their exclusive distillery tour, where you’ll learn how to make your cocktails from the kit you purchased! Immersive Distillery Tour Experience will start at 4pm CST on June 21st.

 

Father’s Day at Juliet | Juliet Italian Kitchen | 10am

Dine-in or takeout this Father’s Day weekend at Juliet Italian Kitchen! They’ll have 8oz char grilled New York strip with Gorgonzola au gratin potatoes and fried onion strings for you to purchase all weekend long. If you decide to dine-in this weekend, be sure to make a reservation. Their regular menu will also be available to those who decide to order online.

Saturday, June 20th

 

Drinks at 3Ten Austin’s Downstairs Club | 3Ten Austin | 5pm-10pm

3Ten Austin’s downstairs club will be open all weekend long from 5pm-10pm! You can get a drink at the bar and watch Austin City Limits tapings on the big screen. 3Ten Austin is taking wellness protocols and following sanitation procedures. Get all the details on how they’re working to keep you and their staff safe.

 

Black Voices: A Listening Party | The Far Out Lounge & Stage | 8pm

Tickets are available for Black Voice: A Listening Party at the Far Out Lounge & Stage. Capacity is limited so be sure to grab those tickets now before it’s too late! The event benefits the Austin Justice Coalition, which “serves people who are historically and systematically impacted by gentrification, segregation, over policing, a lack of educational and employment opportunities, and other institutional forms of racism in Austin.” It will feature conversations and performances from Austin artists and will also be available to live stream.

 

Thank You, Dad! Virtual Chocolate & Whiskey Pairing | Online | 2pm-3pm

International Yoga Day | UMLAUF Sculpture Garden & Museum | 8am-10am

Inhale. Exhale. That felt good, right? There’s nothing wrong with taking some time for yourself, especially on International Yoga Day. ATX Yoga Girl, Cynthia Bernard will be coordinating an hour-long yoga morning class focusing on “steadiness, ease, moving energy, and efficient use of the breath.” The course welcomes everyone of all levels, and a moderate level of intensity. The class is limited capacity so be sure to book your spot now.

 

Father’s Day Brunch | Cru Wine Bar Downtown | 10am-3pm

Sunday calls for brunch! But, safety first. If you’re planning on leaving the house to dine out this Father’s Day weekend, you can head on over to Cru Wine Bar Downtown. They currently have dining rooms open at 50% capacity and are keeping tables at 6 feet apart, including continuous sanitizing. Reservations are available, and brunch starts at $26 per person.
