#AndJusticeForAll #PeacefulProtest – A Call To Action! Protest | Friday | 7pm-8:30pm

The peaceful protests will continue throughout the weekend. Tomorrow join in at 7pm in downtown Austin and march to the African American monument at the Texas Capitol front lawn. The first 20 attendees to show up will receive a free ‘Justice for Floyd’ T-shirt. Throughout the protest, they will also be releasing balloons to honor the lives lost from police brutality.

 

Live Music on the Patio at Rosedale Kitchen and Bar| Friday | 5pm-8pm

Grab some grab and enjoy some live music at Rosedal Kitchen and Bar Friday night. Dave Sollee will perform a ukelele-based set featuring songs “of all eras that are sure to have you singing along!”

 

Central Texas Food Bank volunteer

Central Texas Food Bank Food Distribution | Saturday | 6101 Highland Campus Drive 8am-1pm

Nonprofit organization Central Texas Food Bank released the June dates for their food distribution events. This Saturday they will be giving out emergency food boxes that will include a box of protein, milk gallons, produce, and more. The event is a ‘no-contact’ pickup. Items will be placed in your trunk, and a walk-up service will not be allowed. Be sure to check out the five additional dates for the month of June. George Floyd ATX Ladybird Cleanup Rally | Saturday | 9am-12pm

Come together with everyone in the community at this Saturday’s cleanup rally. There will be speeches and a guided mediation by Sarah Williams, who is an Austin business-owner, mother, healer and woman of color. The rally will be organized into small groups, to maintain social distance. Everyone is welcome to join the cleanup. Get more details above.

Barr’s Pizza and Pints: A Socially Distanced Picnic at Barr’s Mansion | Saturday | 3pm-8pm

Pizza, surrounded by the people you love (in a socially distanced manner). Barr’s Mansion will be including wood fired brick oven pizzas to their menu this weekend, yum! The new north Austin Brewery and Hopsquad Brewing will be providing a selection of beers on the menu to pick from. You can also order online before you arrive to the socially distanced picnic. Blankets are allowed if you want to hang by their gardens. Wearing face masks are encouraged.

Blue Starlite Drive In | All weekend | Austin and Round Rock location

Make it a movie night with a view of the stars and night sky! Check out what Blue Starlite will be screening this weekend. There are a variety of films to catch, including some classics like The Princess Bride, The Sandlot, Jurassic Park, Grease, and more! Tickets can be ordered in advance.

 

Live Music, Beer, Sunsets and Friends | All weekend | Infamous Brewing Company

Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you can make your way down to Infamous Brewing Company for some drinks and live music. You can hangout with your friends or family (maintaining social distance) in their beer garden! Food and games are currently not provided, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own.

Airing on CBS Austin, A Night for Austin is a two-hour commercial-free fundraising event benefiting Austin musicians, music venues and their employees. The lineup features performances from Willie Nelson, Gary Clark Jr., Britt Daniel of Spoon, Black Pumas, Alejandro Escovedo, Norah Jones, Augie Meyers and Flaco Jimenez, and more. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Austin Community Foundation, which allows donations to go to local organizations in Austin.
